Warren Farrell writes new foreword for Equality For Men book

We’re delighted to announce that Dr Warren Farrell has written a new foreword for our book Equality For Men by Glen Poole.

Dr Farrell is recognized as one of the leading figures in the international men’s movement and was named by the Financial Times as one of the world’s top 100 Thought Leaders. He is best known for his groundbreaking book The Myth of Male Power published in 1993 and created the proposed White House Council on Boys & Men in 2010.

Warren says: “I first met Glen when we co-spoke in Australia in 2013. It was immediately apparent that he knew how to speak from his heart as well as his mind. Yes, he cared about ideas; but he also cared about people. He understood core concepts, but he knew the value of making them easy to understand.

“There’s a lot to love about Equality for Men. This isn’t a book being written off of the top of Glen’s head. What we get on an unconscious level is that the author isn’t a stag showing off his academic antlers, but a great teacher who knows how to make you happy you’re learning.

“Equality for Men is more than a book about equality. It is also a book about courage—the courage to say what generates few rewards of money or prestige. And that, in my opinion, is what creates a real hero.”
